StarBand uses a single satellite dish antenna for receiving
AND for sending information - no telephone connection is
needed. Plus, the StarBand antenna can accommodate both the
Internet and DISH Network satellite TV programming, so
StarBand's service can bring the Internet and hundreds of
channels of television into your home, all through one dish
antenna.
Always-On Access:
StarBand service features "always-on" Internet access.
You'll stay connected to the Internet via a high-speed link
as long as your computer is on.
High-Speed:
The StarBand Service can download content up to 10 times
faster than the fastest dial-up service. StarBand consumers
can expect download speeds up to 500 kbps and upload speeds
up to 150 kbps. And, your speed can burst even higher
depending on when you are online.
Everthing You Need:
StarBand service includes full Internet access, web based
e-mail,e-mail boxes (POP3/SMTP) and all hardware and
software necessary for high-speed Internet service.

the complete hardware and services solution. We will be
providing complete StarBand installation of the satellite
television receiver, a two-way Internet terminal and a
